About Us
The Infinity Center provides professionally trained staff who are passionate about their work. We believe that compassionate, evidence-based practices and collaborative treatment are the keys to unlocking your child’s potential.
The Infinity Center embraces the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the gold standard in treatment for children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. Our staff specialize in ABA Therapy, and includes doctoral- and masters-level Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA-D, BCBA), Licensed Clinical Psychologists, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
The Infinity Center is a subsidiary of Humanim, a Baltimore-based human services nonprofit organization with more than 50 years experience serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Maryland.

Who We Serve
The Infinity Center is an early intervention center that provides therapy based in Applied Behavior Analysis for children ages 1-6 with a diagnosis of autism who live in or around Carroll County, and children ages 1-8 with a diagnosis of autism in or around Harford County.
We work together with parents and caregivers to develop a treatment plan to meet your child’s and your family’s specific needs.
At the Infinity Center, we offer a wide range of services, including:
Working here has brought out a passion in me that I did not know I had. I truly love waking up, coming to work, and being able to advocate for the children we serve.
There are so many incredible milestones I’ve been able to witness. One that stands out is when a child I had been working with saw his dad in the pickup line and yelled ‘dada’ for the first time ever.
Teaching staff, families and caregivers is a very special part of my work where I can make a difference in not only the child’s quality of life, but in the lives of the families for whom we provide services. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing our clients become more independent!
Our Facilities
Our early intervention centers are intentionally designed to support learning and development. Each room serves a purpose and meets specific needs. We have a variety of engaging spaces for children to explore:
Natural Environment Teaching (NET) Rooms
Children learn best through fun and play. NET allows us to use a child’s interests to provide motivation through play to teach language, play skills, and social skills. Our NET rooms are the organized by different types of play to ensure that we have the perfect room to meet every child’s interests. We have rooms for:
- Gross motor play
- Transportation
- Puzzles and blocks
- Sensory-based toys
- And more!
Intensive Teaching Rooms
Each child has their own workstation for more structured teaching. Therapists use this time to focus on specific skills for each individual learner. This structured setting helps to increase skills so the learners can be more successful in more natural environments.
Group Teaching Room
This room is for children who are ready to learn how to work in a group. We teach the child to respond to a teacher and a peer in a group, ask questions, and make comments to peers and teachers about activities that take place in a group setting. We work on prerequisite skills that the learners need to be able to function in a group setting.
Accepted Insurance
We accept the following health insurance carriers: Aetna, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Johns Hopkins Employer Health Plan, Johns Hopkins U.S. Family Health Plan, Medicaid, Tricare, United Healthcare
