My Child Just Received a Diagnosis of Autism, Now What?!
According to The Centers for Disease Control and Preventions (CDC), about 1 in 44 children have been identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
For many parents, receiving a diagnosis of ASD for their young child can be scary and overwhelming. Our free, virtual informational session will teach parents and caregivers how to navigate the process of obtaining services for their children, ages 1-8, who were recently diagnosed with ASD. We’ll explain the different therapies and resources available, as well as answer questions.

Kristen Colyer is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has worked with children and adults in the Human Service and Education Fields for over 30 years. Kristen obtained her undergraduate and master’s degree at Western Maryland College (McDaniel College), her BCBA course work at The University of North Texas and is currently working towards a PhD from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is the Director of Children’s Services for the Infinity Center for Behavior Services in Carroll and Harford Counties.
