Learn About How We Use Applied Behavior Analysis

The Infinity Center uses the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) approach to working with young children with autism. This type of therapy focuses on changing specific behaviors and improving skills. Infinity Center Director Kristen Colyer, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, recently led a webinar to explain ABA. This highly informative session provides a great introduction to ABA and why we use it. Click here to watch a video clip of the webinar.

Thank You to Artists Who Support the Infinity Center

We are so grateful to two local artists who have been incredibly generous supporters of the Infinity Center. Artist Brooks Weaver from Westminster and woodworker Tim committed 100% of the proceeds from sales at an art show to the Infinity Center. Thanks so much to Brooks and Tim for their generosity! We are also grateful to Integrative Dental Wellness for hosting the art show. It means the world to us to have support from the community!

Moving Up

Nothing makes us happier than seeing the children we work with take the next steps in their developmental journey! We recently had a “Moving Up” Party for the kids who are going on to Kindergarten in Harford County. We’re here to help children reach their full potential – and we’re so proud to help them be ready for school!

Staff Spotlight: Meet Erika Greszler, BCBA

We’re pleased to announce Erika Greszler’s promotion to Clinical Supervisor in Harford County. She will oversee the work of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), as well as manage daily operations at the Center, in this newly-established role. Erika has been with us since December, most recently serving as a clinical BCBA.

At the Infinity Center, we utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach verbal behavior, adaptive, play, and social skills. Treatment varies based on each child’s individual needs.

“We have the great fortune of an amazing building and team of staff that allows us to provide the intense 1:1 programming our learners require, while also working on skills in the generalized play-based environment,” Erika said. “Kids love our superhero-themed decor and families appreciate our emphasis on developing important independent and social skills for every child to be their best, unique selves!”
